Message from General Director

My first visit to Mongolia was in 1991 at the request of the U.S. State Department through the USIS office. I taught at the University on banking systems, banking rules, regulations and restructuring.

Then later the World Bank invited me to Mongolia to work with them in a symposium for all bankers and regulators on restructuring the banking system and regulatory system. At that time, I was honored by the Prime Minister of Mongolia who told me that he he had monitored my consulting presentations and that I was one American who told the truth and gave advice that was good for Mongolia. He honored me for putting Mongolia's interest first.

My third visit to Mongolia was for the World Bank and the Central Bank combined with the USIS and it was also on financial reform and economic progress.

I have made many visits since, for business and friendship associations.

It is so delightful to see that many of the policies and programs that we outlined have been initiated by the business community and Government of Mongolia. In some ways, I feel blessed and honored to have been a small part of the progress we now see and enjoy in Mongolia. This is why we chose to open an office and invest in Mongolia!

The leaders in Mongolia obviously love the country and want to see the nation do well. Our role as a Mongolian-American Joint Venture is to support that progress in every way. Our family of clients and contracts includes some of the world's most successful enterprises. We trust that many in Mongolia will qualify to join this family.
